The Accessory Consultant manufactures custom and private label jewelry at our factory in Mumbai, India. A typical LA timeline
Here is how a first collection usually moves, written the way most of our D2C clients plan it:
Week zero: the brief. You send mood boards, screenshots, sketches or a stylist's references. No CAD files needed. We reply with questions about materials, sizes and quantities.
CAD and revisions. Our designers model each piece and send renders. Expect comments on proportions, chain lengths and stone sizes; this is the cheapest point to change things.
The sample. A physical sample ships to you in LA. Shoot it, wear it, test it. When it is right, you approve it and it becomes the reference for production.
Production and QC. We manufacture and check every piece against the sample, then pack and ship to your LA address or your 3PL.
Typical CAD-to-delivery is about 18 days. International shipping time to Los Angeles is separate and is confirmed once we know where goods are going and how you want them shipped. Mumbai runs about twelve and a half to thirteen and a half hours ahead of LA, so a message sent in your evening is often answered by your morning.
