Custom ring manufacturer for US brands
Rings are the hardest everyday jewelry to get right. They take more wear than any other piece, they have to fit a finger precisely, and customers notice small differences in profile, comfort and finish. A ring that looks perfect in a photo can feel wrong on the hand. That is why choosing a custom ring manufacturer is less about who can cast metal and more about who can control proportion, sizing and consistency across a production run.
The Accessory Consultant is a custom jewelry manufacturer with its own factory in Mumbai, India. We make rings for US brands, D2C labels and wholesalers, working remotely with clients across the country. We do not have a US office.
Three facts frame every ring program:
- MOQ from 50 units per design
- About 18 days from CAD to delivery for a typical program; international shipping to the US is separate and confirmed once the method is known
- NDAs offered for private label and OEM programs
Ring types we manufacture
Stacking and everyday bands
Thin bands, textured bands and stackable sets are a staple of D2C collections. They look simple, but their thinness leaves no room for error: an uneven band or soft edge is immediately visible. We check width and thickness in CAD and you confirm them on the physical sample.
Signet and statement rings
Signets, chunky domes and men's rings carry weight and surface area. Face size, shank thickness and the transition between them define the look. Engraving-ready faces can be built into the design.
Stone-set fashion rings
Solitaire-style, halo-style and cluster designs set with semi-precious stones, artificial stones or precious stones. Setting style affects both look and durability, and we discuss it at the CAD stage.
Engagement rings and wedding bands
For bridal programs we work in solid gold with natural diamonds or lab-grown diamonds. See our dedicated bridal jewelry manufacturer page and the engagement ring case study.
Materials for rings
| Material | Common use |
|---|---|
| Solid gold | Fine, bridal and heirloom rings |
| Sterling silver | Everyday, men's and statement rings |
| Gold vermeil | Gold-look rings at a lower price than solid gold |
| Gold filled | Durable everyday gold-tone bands |
| Gold plated | Trend-led fashion rings |
| Stainless steel | Active wear and men's rings |
Gold karat options are discussed per project. We do not publish prices or plating specifications on this page; those are confirmed in your quote for your design.
Sizing: plan it before CAD
Sizing is the most common source of problems in ring programs. Decide early:
- Which US sizes you will offer. Most brands offer a core range rather than every size.
- How you will split your quantity. MOQ is per design, so you need to plan how many units each size gets within your order. Tell us your split in the brief.
- Whether the design scales. Patterns and stone layouts that look right at one size may need adjustment at another. We check this in CAD.
- Comfort fit or flat interior. Interior profile changes how a ring feels and can affect sizing perception.
Our RFQ guide includes a checklist for size-run planning.
The ring development process
Brief. Send sketches, reference photos, an existing ring you own the rights to, or CAD files. Include size range, material, stones and quantity per design.
NDA. For private label and OEM programs, signed before files are shared.
CAD. We build a 3D model and renders. Ring CAD review should focus on width, thickness, stone height and profile from the side, which photos often hide. Our jewelry CAD guide explains what to look for.
Sample. A physical sample ships to your US address. Try it on. Check comfort, weight and finish.
Production. Your rings are made and checked against the approved sample.
Delivery. Packed goods ship to your studio, warehouse or 3PL.
Private label rings vs ODM rings
If you have designs, we work as an OEM manufacturer and produce exactly what you approve. If you have a direction but not finished designs, we can work as an ODM partner and develop ring designs with you. Our OEM vs ODM guide and private label guide explain the difference.
Rings for different US markets
Ring demand varies across the country. Philadelphia and Salt Lake City briefs often focus on bridal. Detroit brands ask for heavy men's rings. Austin founders test stacking sets. New York designers bring detailed fine-jewelry CAD. Browse every market from our US hub.
