Lab-grown diamond jewelry manufacturer for US brands
Lab-grown diamonds have changed the US jewelry market. They let brands offer larger stones and diamond-heavy designs at price points that used to belong to fashion jewelry, and they have opened fine jewelry to D2C founders who could never have stocked natural diamond inventory. A lab-grown diamond jewelry manufacturer needs to handle both sides of that shift: fine-jewelry setting standards and the fast, test-driven pace of modern brands.
The Accessory Consultant is a custom jewelry manufacturer with its factory in Mumbai, India. We manufacture jewelry set with lab-grown diamonds for US brands, D2C labels and wholesalers, and we also work with natural diamonds. We have no US office; our team serves US clients remotely.
Commercial terms:
- MOQ from 50 units per design
- About 18 days from CAD to delivery for a typical program; international shipping to the US is separate and confirmed once the method is known
- NDAs offered for private label and OEM programs

Metals for lab-grown diamond jewelry
| Metal | Positioning |
|---|---|
| Solid gold | Fine jewelry and bridal; karat options discussed per project |
| Sterling silver | Accessible diamond jewelry |
| Gold vermeil | Gold-look diamond pieces at a lower price than solid gold |
Pairing lab-grown diamonds with silver or vermeil is one way brands create an accessible diamond tier, while solid gold suits bridal and fine collections.
What to specify for stones
Lab-grown diamonds vary in shape, size, colour and clarity just as natural diamonds do. In your brief, tell us:
- Shapes (round, oval, emerald, pear, princess and so on)
- Sizes or carat targets for centre and accent stones
- Your quality expectations and target retail price
- Whether a grading document is important for your marketing
Stone specifications, availability and pricing are confirmed per project in your quote. We do not publish grades, certifications or prices on this page.
Tiering a collection with lab-grown stones
A common structure for lab-grown brands is three tiers. An entry tier uses small accent stones in sterling silver or vermeil, giving customers a real diamond at a gift price. A core tier uses solid gold with modest centre stones for everyday fine jewelry. A hero tier carries larger centre stones and bridal designs. Each tier can share design language, such as the same prong style or band profile, so the collection feels coherent. Because the minimum applies per design, you can start with one or two pieces per tier and expand as sales data comes in.
Being clear with customers
US customers expect clear disclosure about whether a diamond is lab-grown or natural. Describe your stones accurately in your marketing and on your packaging. If you sell both, keep them clearly separated in your catalogue. We recommend checking product descriptions with your own advisers.
How a lab-grown program runs
- Brief. Designs, stone plan, metal and quantities per design.
- NDA. For private label and OEM programs.
- CAD. Models and renders. Check stone layout, setting style and how light will reach the stones.
- Sample. A physical piece shipped to you. Check sparkle, setting security and finish in person.
- Production. Manufactured and checked against the approved sample.
- Delivery. Packed and shipped to your US address.
Launching a lab-grown brand
Founders entering lab-grown jewelry often start with three to five core designs: a solitaire ring, studs, a pendant and a tennis bracelet. Our minimum per design keeps that first launch manageable. Read our low MOQ guide, our D2C brands guide and our solid gold and silver guide.
Lab-grown demand across the US
New York and Los Angeles host many D2C diamond brands. San Francisco and Portland founders often ask about lab-grown as part of a modern brand story. Salt Lake City and Philadelphia bridal retailers increasingly stock both. See all cities on the US hub.
